Protocol 8203: is it FLEET?

When sniffing network traffic I see packets of 8203 protocol.
What is it, FLEET?

Yes

Tony.

Where can I find an in-depth description of FLEET?
I need to add a plug-in to decode FLEET packets to my sniffer.

It’s not documented and I don’t think it’s made public. Netsniff included
with QNX4 (a sniffer) has an option to parse the packet and display a
“little bit” of info about them.

What has changed since March 2002?

I certainly doubt that the network packets have changed.

Actually it was public at one time. I somehow located a Knowledge Base
article named “QNX4 network packet format” that discussed it and
included a portion of the file “eth.h” with the packet structure. (The
closest I can find to a date is March, 2002.)

Since the structure of QNX documentation has been extensively changed
since then, good luck on finding it now.

I kept a copy of the html page for my own use but don’t know that I
would have permission to share it.

I certainly doubt that the network packets have changed.

The organization of documentation at qnx.com, i.e., finding it again.

Mackay

That’s good.
And where can I find the “struct qnx_hdr” layout?

Actually it was public at one time. I somehow located a Knowledge Base
article named “QNX4 network packet format” that discussed it and
included a portion of the file “eth.h” with the packet structure. (The
closest I can find to a date is March, 2002.)

Since the structure of QNX documentation has been extensively changed
since then, good luck on finding it now.

I can’t see a problem with posting it here.

Great.
I am attaching it (but it is an html page). I didn’t try to keep any of
the html-tag targets, just the text.
