Slib16: should I include it still?

All our own soft is 32-bit code.
What legacy programms in QNX v4.25G might want to have Slib16 in the boot-image?
Is it safe to omit Slib16 theese days?

Tony.

Some of the QNX Windows servers are still 16-bit only (requiring
Slib16). That’s the only thing I can think of. (Well, unless
you explicitly run Dev16 or Dev16.ser or something like that.)

Found yet another dependancies - both vedit and vp (vedit plus v5.16) fail without Slib16.

Lucky you!
I just can’t imagine how to start using vi - it buffles me completely!
I’m too old to get used to it. For me - mqc rulezz!
Probably I have to look for some O’Reilly book on vi…

Well, when I first had to choose an editor, it was on a 4.2BSD Vax
11/785 student system, with generally 5-30 users. I had a choice
of vi or emacs – with emacs, it was , swap, swap,
swap, swap, … swap, swap, swap some more, … letter appears on
screen. With vi I could type. I learnt vi.

I just can’t imagine how to start using vi - it buffles me completely!

Yeah, vi is a truly “Unix” editor – powerful but cryptic.
