ISA CAN Adapter

Hello,
We are currently using PC/104 CAN adapters but are now looking to
source an ISA version of this adapter that utilizes the same Intel 82527
chip set (dual channel). Does anyone know of a supplier for these cards
? Driver software is not required as it will be ported from our PC/104
driver code, although technical data on the adapter would be required.

Regards,
Len.

I was using exactly the card you want - ISA one with Intel82527. The

supplier is however a Russian company in Saint-Petersburgh.
If this does not frighten you - I’ll search for their info to post.

(I used both CAN and ISA cards of their’s, both with good results. The PCB
quality was very high - 4 layers, good insulation, very reasonable layout)
They even provide a testing utility (do not remember was it for DOS or for
QNX4…)

Why not use a PC/104 to ISA convertor-then you can use
the identical board.
e.g. Tri-M

(3x PC/104 sites may be ab it bulky I’m sure
there will be others)

I’m currently testing a PC104 converter board, but was asked to source

an ISA CAN adapter (price comparison).

Here they are (in Russian, but prices are in USD):

http://www.kaskod.ru/price.html
CAN for PC/104: http://www.kaskod.ru/perif/can104.html ($145)
CAN for ISA: http://www.kaskod.ru/perif/can527.html ($145)

The test suite is for DOS…

By the way, since then they added CAN@USB device.
