QNX 6.3.0 (NC) suitable for embedded development ?

Hello,
I’m planning to develop a small embedded app on an x86 SBC, with the
least possible budget. So I downloaded the 30 days evaluation version of
QNX Momentics (Linux host), which I would use as NC.
However, I am not sure whether the NC version would allow me to :

  • keep using a linux host ? for my HD is scsi and didn’t seem to be
    recognised when I tried install QNX6.2.1 NC.
  • keep targetting my SBC ?
    More precisely, I would like to know which are the tools that remain
    after the evaluation license expiration…

Hi Yvain,
When your license expires you will lose the ability to develop and build os
images. You installation will essentially become a workstation.

I believe the IDE also is disable with the license expires, so you will only
be able to compile with command line tools.
