I’m a novice to qnx.
1.in “QNX4 Supported File System Drivers” web on qnx website ,i see various
chipset list , these chipset is control chip various memory interface(IDE OR
SCSI ,and so on) ? what is them?
2.how to us CF card on qnx4.24 os?
- i want to know whether via embedded series processer compatible with
qnx4.24 , (for example:VIA eden-n , VIA eden esp , VIA c3-m , VIA c3 ,and so
on)
by the way , i want to know whether via Twister-T(VT8606+VT82C686B) chipset
compatible with qnx4.24
please tell me

The controller chip register map is what’s important, not the maker of the card or computer.
2.how to us CF card on qnx4.24 os?
Easy. CF cards are an ATA(IDE) controller in PIO mode except maybe at a different base address.

If it can boot DOS then you’ve got a good chance of getting it booted with QNX 4.x but don’t expect all features (ie: graphics, network, sound) to work. That said, adding a controller card that does work is always a possibility.
If you are wanting this for a new application then you should choose QNX 6.3 instead of QNX 4.x.
