Perhaps someone can help me with this topic.
We have here the eval board PQ2FADS from freescale with 32MB RAM and 8MB
Flash.
Now we have some application running on the kit (QNX 6.3) but we are
running into RAM problems. The application need more than 32MB.
I’ve read something about swapctl over nfs (nfs is already running).

Is swapctl also available for the PPC8270? I couldn’t find it on my
installation.
Thank you
Kind Regards

QNX has never really supported any sort of swapping or paging
to disk. While I don’t have a 6.3.0 system, I can tell you
that swapctl was not shipped with 6.3.0 SP1, and the documentation
has been removed with 6.3.0SP2 as well. (That is for all platforms,
not just PPC.)

Swapping was always implemented for gcc …

I would not consider a special hack for the compiler to be be
“really supported” swapping or paging.
