Driver description says that other resolutions are supported through
smi7xx.conf configuration file.
Is it possible to get an example of settings for the 1280x1024 mode?
And how should I start io-graphics & driver in that case?
io-graphics … ?

Hi,
I forgot to mention we are trying to start Photon
in 1280x1024 mode on ppcbe target.
With settings taken from “/etc/system/config/crtc-settings”
and adopted to the “smi7xx.conf” file graphics card works
fine with 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768 resolution.
Unfortunately in 1280x1024 mode we only see a blank screen.
Maybe there is still something wrong with timings configuration
for the SMI7xx chip?
I will test the devg-smi7xx.so on the BIOS system (x86)
tomorrow…
The main question is:
Is it possible to achieve mode better than the last position
from resolution table in the driver description?
Regards,
Jacek

\
- logout photon into text console,
- run “/usr/photon/bin/devgt-iographics -dldevg-smi7xx.so
/etc/system/config/graphics-modes”- In file /etc/system/config/graphics-modes has append new graphics
modes.- now run photon “ph”
- In “Configure->Graphics” —> “Video Driver” you can select new driver
resolution.- Press “Done” button, and now is new driver used by photon and testing
