I was trying to install QNX on a Rack mount system with a D915GEV
Motherboard and the system failed to boot with the following messages:
Unable to allocate resources.
Unable to allocate resources.
/dev/pci not mounted
Doing a verbose boot option it is failing as soon as it tries to run the PCI
command.
I tried QNX 6.2 standard, QNX 6.21, and QNX 6.3.
I can’t remember which one, but one of them simply caused the system to
reboot; even in verbose mode.
Does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks
Try disabling all power management features. And anything else that’s not a legacy device.

I disabled EVERYTHING and now it boots so I will try and isolate the problem
tomorrow when I get to work.
I will post the results for anybody else who encounters this issue.
Thanks

Hi,
I have the same problem.
I intend tomorrow to fight this problem when I get to work.
Hi,
It is necessary to switch the internal network card off (internal LAN
disabled).
QNX 6.3 isn’t operating all 1Gps cards.
I wish nice installing,

I haven’t had a chance to look at this in a while, but I still get errors
while booting up the system.
I don’t know why.
I will have to look at this in detail later when I am working with those
systems again.
