I am asking about the latest “Beta” version.

I found that the files available on the web (tcprt50.tar.gz and
tcptk50.tar.gz) and included in the tarball are older than a Beta I got
in the past (Sept 2002).

Unfortunately the latest security patch contains only the update to slinger.

Could you please try sending the “kill -SIGHUP
<inetd’s_PID>” after you’ve removed a service from the /
etc/inetd.conf, I’m suffering from the (suspected) bug
there. See below in this news-group.
