Cannot boot from CompactFlash - But can see loader

I am attempting to boot from a CompactFlash on an Ampro CM600 (pentium
class) pc104/+ board. I can install QNX using the CD and floppy.

When I attempt to boot from the CF only the loader is found. After that, I
get a message reading that the OS is missing.

Is there something special I have to do in order for the loader to point to
the OS correctly?

If I boot from a HD and mount the CF the filesystem and correct files exist.

Usually this means there’s a drive mapping error – that is, the
h/t/s are off.

Do you know what h/t/s mapping the CF should be using? If so, I’d
recommend starting the driver with that explicitly given on the
command line, rather than letting it try to figure it out (query
the BIOS or whatever) which may be getting it wrong.
