Hi everybody!
I recently installed the security patch for QNX4.25 and TCPIP.
I haven’t been able to open a phindows/phditto session as root ever since.
Am I missing something? Is there any workaround for this behaviour?

Yes, you’ve missed the Photon Security patch - phrt-1.14-07.tarX

I’m running Photon 1.13 (the system that I maintain doesn’t work properly on
Photon 1.14). Would that Photon Security patch work for Photon 1.13?

Yes, you’ve missed the Photon Security patch - phrt-1.14-07.tarXTony.

phrt-1.14-07.tarX gives you the updated version of the phlogin (with the
UNIX crypt() code), I hope it may be compatible with Photon v1.13

By the way - I strongly suggest to get the Watcom C v10.6B Security patch
as well!
It will bring you much updated unix3[r|s].lib and headers.

I can’t find that security patch (phrt-1.14-07.tarX).
In the download section I only see the runtime patches B,C & D for Photon
1.14, but I’m on 1.13 so I’d like to have only the phlogin replaced…
Any idea as to where I could download only the security patch form?
