I didn’t understand very well why we need a BSP … Can someone help in
a few words what is its aim ?
My target is a simple x86 mainboard

do I need a BSP to install QNX neutrino on it ?

Hi Marion,
For x86 targets you generally don’t need a BSP, you can install the OS
to the target using the CD as a quick and simple installation method
(for targets you don’t want to install all the tools, etc…).
Just to let you know the Trident Blade 3D card will probably not work in
accelerated mode, however you can use the Vesa driver which I expect
will work just fine for you.
