i am new to QNX, infact i am working on QNX4.25 and i want to know
that, how can i install any colour laser/inkjet printer on qnx 4.25
well it is the need of processes in our steel plant and i need to
find the result soon.
please help me!!!
I suggest you look at the manauls and help files for lpd, it is possible to
define a printer that has an ip address. You will need TCPIP installed in
youe QNX4.25. Then in your /etc/printcap (not entirely obvious) define an
entry for your printer (rp= the ip address of the printer) make sure your
lpsrvr file is consistant too. Alot of printers allow direct tcp/ip (for
example HP directjet) connection , just make sure that you send raw
postscript data and it will be automatically recoqised.
