hi,
we have a full set of QNX machine reporting to a single one
which act as a file and database server (mysql+nfs+CIFS).
As stuff become dense I would like to tune this server
specifically for performance (disk+memory).
regarding your experiences, what parameters do I have to
tune/check for such a machine (QNX 6.3.0 SP2 PE) ?
thanks for the advices.

You should check some of the options of devb-eide and the io-blk and fs-qnx4
module.

Diskboot was the option of the boot image to play with.
I found this utility not very “usable”, syntax is weird.
to change io-block, I got to change devb_eide, that need
to be modified by the way of diskboot that is not easy to
understand.
anyway I got it.
thank for the direction.
