building an OS image

Hello,

I’m using QNX 6.3 standard edition(without the IDE). I know there’s a
utility called “system builder” that simplifies creating OS images on the
IDE. Is there something equivalent on the standard edition?

Thanks

No, you have to do it by hand.

Thanks

I am working on creating an image of my system that has the photon
development system installed on it. In future, I’d like to create
distribution CD’s of my image that doesn’t include the development system
and also discards the fonts that aren’t used in our
photon apps. In this case, what directories or files would I have to include
in my image? Is there a limit on the size of the image?
How would I install the run-time license?

I appreciate your comments.

You can look into “Photon in embedded systems” document in Photon
Programmers guide for creating a Photon image … . this you check for
QNX6.3SP2
