We are having very strange problems trying to install QNX4.25E in a new
Advantech industrial PC.
QNX installs and everything works as expected. But when we try to use a PCI
network adapter we can’t make it to work. We have tried several flavors of
cards (Net.ether905, Net.rtl, Net.tulip) each with its correspoding
hardware, but when we try to “ping” to an IP address the card just don’t
work. The card installs correctly (ie: the driver gets up without
complaints), we start “Tcpip” and “ifconifg” without issues as well, but if
we try to “ping” it seems as if the network cable was disconected.
If we swap CPU cards (remember this is an industrial PC) for an older model
using the same hard drive, then everything works.
When we use the “show_pci” command, we see that the older CPU card says PCI
Version 2.10 while the newer says 3.00, does QNX4 has issues with 3.0 PCI?
Any ideas?

Can you please post the full output from ‘show_pci -vv’ on the new board, as
well as the output from ‘netinfo -l’ after starting the network driver.
