I am about to purchase a new laptop (ThinkPad T60) - I realize that the
graphics system is not currently supported (it uses the ATI Mobility Radeon
X1400).

Can someone tell me if there are currently any plans to support this chip?
And if so, when?

PS It might be nice to have some information on the web site listing

No - I just use the VESA driver for now. I assume that the X1400 will
eventually be supported.
