QNX on Parallels VM

Hello,

anyone who successfully installed QNX Neutrino 6.3.0 under the Parallels
VM? I work on a mac mini/Intel at home and would like to do some QNX
stuff there as well. But running the Parallels VM and booting from CD
leads me to the “Press ESC for .altboot…” message but then it stucks.

Any suggestions how to convince QNX to start up under the Parallels VM?

greetings,

Wolfram

Hi Wolfram,

There are a few of us who are very interested in making this work.
I will be getting my MacBook Pro in the next week or so, at which point I
will be able to help in a more practical way

Hopefully if there are enough of us then we can convince someone at
Parallels and/or QNX to help get this sorted out.

Since Parallels works with everything from MS-DOS to Win3.1 to OS/2 to most
flavours of Linux and BSD, surely it can’t be too hard.

Have you tried booting with a non-DMA image? Have you tried booting 6.2.1?
