making a GUI outside of PhAB. is it possible?

I will concede that I am quite new to QNX and still a bit unfamiliar
with certain programs. THat being said:

Is it possible to make phab applications (ultimately a GUI) within
Momentics alone? Our computer that runs QNX as its sole OS is down
for repairs, but we have a laptop running XP with momentics loaded.
I know that PhAB is good for GUIs, but I was looking to get started
and was wondering if there was anything I could do without it. Once
everything is up and running where would be a good place to go for
documentation/tips/advice on using PhAB?

Thanks,

Jimmy

The Windows version of Momentics includes Phab. If you create a new
Phab project from within the IDE it will launch Phab for you. You can
also launch Phab at any time in the future by selecting the project
within the IDE and clicking Open Appbuilder from the Project menu.

Thanks, Ryan. Unfortunately, for the time being, we only have the 30
day free trial, which conveniently grays out the appBuilder option.
At least now, though, I have material to read in preparation for the
full version!

thanks again,
Jimmy

nevermind, got it working!

The PhAB in Windows does work within the 30 day trial period. You just have
to create a Photon Appbuilder project, and it opens. When you re-open the
project later, you have to hit that icon that looks like a pen writing on a
blue paper, you know, that one that doesn’t remind you that it could have to
do anything with Photon.
