Install as self-hosted QNX on VirtualPC.

HI,

Has anyone tried this before, install of QNX on VirtualPC. I am very
interested in this as QNX does not support Mac OS X. So I am forced to use
VirtualPC. Was going to install in Windows XP, on VirtualPC but thought it
might be possible to install as a self-hosted QNX install.

Any thoughts on this?

Yes it works. QNX6 actually has support for VMware (special graphic
driver).

I heard some people are trying to get QNX working on the lastest Intel Mac
via a virtual machine software (don’t recall the name)

Without speaking out of school, some great progress has recently been
made in getting QNX6 to work using the Parallels virtualisation
software on Intel Macs. Look for some kind of semi-official support to
appear soon.

Note that this will only work on Intel Macs, unlike VirtualPC which
(currently) only works on PPC Macs.

Yeik PPC Macs are probably way to slow?

I’m trying to get Momentics 30-day Linux version running on Fedora Core
5/Xen. So far I haven’t been able to install it, since it doesn’t accept
the nfs path for some reason.
