Disabling Shelf

How can I disable the Shelf autostart. I remember there was an environement
variable in qnx4 “PHPDM\DISABLE=1”. Something similar in neutrino?

Thanks

Here’s what it says in the Using the Photon microGUI chapter of the
Neutrino User’s Guide:

How can I disable the shelf?
If you just want to close the shelf in your current Photon session, you
can shut it down it using shelf -e.

A more permanent approach is to set the PHSHELF_DISABLE environment
variable to 1. You can do this in your .profile file, with:

export PHSHELF_DISABLE=1
