how are io-net and dhcp.client started at the system boot?

Can someone please inform me as to how io-net and dhcp.client processes are
started at the system startup. I need to find the file that start these
process as I have to modify an option for dhcp.client. I need to change -t
option from 1 to the default.

Any help will be appreciated.

thanks,
Sabtain

Please check:

/etc/system/sysinit

/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit

/etc/rc.d/

For details, see User’s Guide-> Controlling How Neutrino Starts.

/etc/system/sysinit calls /etc/rc.d/rc.devices which calls enum-devices.

See the enumerator configuration files in the /etc/system/enum directory.
