I have an IBM T30 laptop with an ATI Radeon 7500 Mobility (16MB) graphics card. According to the documentation, the video driver radeon.so supports this card. However, when I select this from the GUI configuration wizard, the computer freezes and the screen pixels slowly begin to brighten until it is completely bright. I have to do a hard reboot.
Any ideas why it isn’t working?
The standard vesa.so and svga.so drivers work.
