does a USB or PCMCIA soundcard exist which is supported under QNX 6.3 ?

Not that I know of. Why would someone use a USB sound device?

Why would someone use a USB sound device?

The soundcard in my laptop is not supported.
Therefore I am seeking a soundcard which I can use on my laptop and on desktops etc.

Does anyone know how difficult it is to write a driver for a usb soundcard for only stereo output (no recording etc.) ?

Does anyone know a good documented chipset, where the infos are available without a NDA ?
