[help]why can't XFree86 4.2 run in VMWare QNX6.2.1PE?

In the VMWare QNX6.2.1, start XFree86 in a shell,
#XFree86 -configure
it fails with log file as followed:

If the server is older than 6-12 months, or if your card is
newer than the above date, look for a newer version before

the full server output, not just the last messages.
This can be found in the log file “/var/log/XFree86.0.log”.
Please report problems to xfree86@xfree86.org.

If run XFree86 in a real machine QNX host , it fails to find bitmap module and pci module.
what’s the problem?
Thanks a lot in advance!

I have used XFree86 in QNX 6.2.1 with VMware without a problem.

  1. How much memory did you assign to vmware? XFree86 needs lots of memory.
  2. Can you try the XFree86 4.3 from sourceforge.net/project/showfile … _id=160416
