If you are serious about qnx6 programming, you should really purchase Rober Krten’s book. Some sample chapters can be found http://www.parse.com/books/book_v3/sample.html. There is chapter in the book: “Clocks, Timers and Getting a Kick Every So Often” Sounds like you want that.
If you are not ready to invest a book, you should at least read those free articles at the new developers web site: http://www.qnx.com/developer/articles
