Has anyone had any luck getting the Radeon or other driver to work with the Radeon Mobility chipset Device ID 0x5975? It is unsupported, AFAIK.
This is the video chipset in an Acer Aspire 5100 laptop, which has a 1280 x 800 pixel WXGA display. Actually, if I could just get a generic/vesa driver to work at 1280 x 800, that would be great. Right now, I’m stuck at 1024 x 768 in vesa mode.
I tried the Scitech Snap driver, which did not work.
Any help would be appreciated.
