Hi all,
First i configured Target for sserial comm.by running
“pppd” command on target
Then i have done following steps to configure windows XP host for serial communication.

In the Control Panel window, select Network Connections.

In the New Connection Wizard dialog, click Set up an advanced connection, then click Next:

Select Connect directly to another computer, then click Next.

When prompted for the role of your target, choose Guest; click Next.

Name your connection (e.g. “ppp_biscayne”), and then click Next.

When prompted to select a device, choose Communications Port (COM1), and then click Next.

When prompted to specify whether you want this connection to be for your use only, or for anyone’s, select Anyone’s use. Click Next.

If you want Windows to create a desktop shortcut, click the option on the last page of the wizard.

Click Finish.

In the Connect name_of_target dialog, enter your user ID and password, then select Properties.

Select the Options tab.

Disable the option Prompt for name and password, certificate, etc., then click OK.
i am getting an error:"Error Connecting to test". please find the attachment to view the Error.
what can be the problem? can any one plz help me out to slove this issuse.
