Has anyone run into anything like this?
I have a Quad PIII Dell Server that runs with a 6.3.0 smp boot file just fine. I have a development machine that works fine with a slightly modified 6.3.2 boot file. When I copy this working boot file to the server, it won’t boot. I get the “Press Alt” message and the periods indicating that the boot file is read, but then it stops. I never get the “Press Space Bar…” message.
It would seem a little odd for a later version to have more problems than an older version, but it wouldn’t be the first time.
