Hello, I use AC’ 97 Audio Controler on embeded system.
Vendor ID = 8086h, Intel Corporation
Device ID = 24c5h, 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M)
I use this driver and mixer:
deva-mixer-ac97.so
deva-ctrl-i8x0.so
Rutine to init driver:
io-audio -d i8x0
Sometimes (1 of 20 system starts) Sound Card start with background noise.
After typing:
slay io-audio
io-audio -d i8x0
… is everything OK. But this solution isn’t usable for my embeded aplication. If I automaticaly kill io-audio when application start and then start it again - sometimes the first start is good and second bad. :-/
