QNX 6.3.0: Hang on start from CD

hello.

i have downloaded the qnx 6.3.0 (self hosted for x86-maschines) version from the download-area.
well, i have burned it on an cd then i try to boot from there and then i have a new problem.
the system hangs over by scanning for eide-devices.
my pc has one hdd over s-ata.
on 6.3.2 it woks correct, but on 6.3.0 … :frowning:

can everybody help me?
what is the problem?

Sven,

In the BIOS make sure that the SATA controller is set to compatible/IDE mode.

If you’ve done that, try pressing the ‘d’ key during the boot sequence to disable DMA transfers.
