APIC mode and pci-bios

Hi all,
Does anybody know if APIC mode is supported by pci-bios, allowing more IRQ lines? The BIOS I have on board enables APIC, but looks like pci-bios does not handle this?!?

AFAIK you cannot use APIC.
You must live with =<15 IRQs
