Qtalk interactive command

Hi All
Just wondering if anyone knows what the Control F function does when you are running Qtalk…
I am connect to a system and getting the Hieroglyphs through but when I do a Control F I can then see the string of information through…
Thanks
Adrian

My recollection is that the escape to qtalk key is CTRL-A. So everything else should pass through including CTRL-F. If you want to send a CTRL-A I think you would just press it twice.

That is cool … But … What actually does Control F do ??
Anybody…

Uh, it sends a Control-F ASCII character. The hex values is 0x06. It’s called ACK. What it does depends on what the receiving side decides to do with it.
If you are not familiar with ASCII, this might help: physics.udel.edu/~watson/scen103/ascii.html

Thank you very much for that…
