"Unable to start graphics driver(s)"

Hello everyone,

I am booting QNX 6.4.1 on VMware and while it’s loading, I get the following error:

“Unable to start graphics driver(s)”

I am running this on a netbook and I’m aware that it may lag a bit, but that’s not the current issue at hand. Any tips on what I might need to do or download/install would be greatly appreciated.

Extra notes:
I installed QNX using the .iso download “QNX® Software Development Platform 6.4.1 — QNX Neutrino RTOS Installation and Boot CD” from the QNX Download Center.

Zaiker,

This error has nothing to do with your laptop. It has to do with your VMWare setup.

The message means that QNX doesn’t recognize the graphics adaptor that VMWare is providing. You’ll need to change your VMWare image to use a different graphics adaptor.
