QNX 6.5 ntp.conf

Since I experience showers of NTPv2 requests on my QNX server (foreign machine trying to have my server running into DDOS), I would like to know, apart from firewalling or adding trusted clients with the ‘-t’ option, if there is a possibility to modify ntp.conf so that my server works as an ntp client only, or restricting requests (resp. answers to requests) to a given frequency, or anything else on the QNX server.

Thank you, Helge

Perhaps you want a NTP client instead of a NTP server. Try “ntpdate” instead of “ntpd”
