some QNX-photos

Hello all,

How about to see a bit more from your work environment, people in action
at QSSL !?
What do you think to add to www.qnx.com some photos from QSSL, working
environment, main engineers …

Comments !?

stefan

I don’t think seeing software enginners pulling each other hair out would
do any good to QSSL image

You can go fishing for http://staff.qnx.com/~username accounts…

For example http://staff.qnx.com/~pete . there’s a bio and picture of me
there if you click on the first image that comes up.

Don’t be surprised if you find stuff like ``OK Aunt Martha… here are the
baby pictures’’ though…

As for staff pictures, most of us are hanging on to our stashes for
possible blackmail purposes later on…

The images on your home page are great!
Can you include these images in QRTP as backdrops?

It would be OK by me… they do tile well, don’t they…

Anyway… if anyone want’s to grab them and use them as backdrops,
go ahead.

Is that an official waiver of any and all copy rights?

As well as an affirmation that you are the owner of said copy rights?

If so, could you please digitally sign here.

I hereby affirm that I (Pete Patterson) am the original author of all
material on the staff.qnx.com/~pete website, with the specific exception
of the work entitled The Great Rhyming War of 98'' which is a collaborative effort between myself and one Mary Upchurch Sullivan’’, a resident
of the State of Texas.

I further hereby affirm that I am actually me and not someone pretending
to be me for the purpose of mischief.

I hereby grant to any person (the user) the right to use the materials on
that site for any purpose whatsoever, providing that if any of the material
is made available publically, the author is given credit, and the URL of
the original page is displayed.

For the purposes of this permission, `publically’ in the above paragraph
shall not be construed to include the users own personal computer (unless the
material can be viewed therefrom via the internet), or the premises of the
users home or place of work.

I further exclude specifically any corporation from using the material in
any way without my prior written consent. I hereby exclusively exclude QSSL
from inclusion in the exclusion by hereby giving them prior written consent
to include the material.

So use them as wallpaper, print them out and stick them on your walls,
but if you publish them in the company newsletter, please print a credit
with the URL.

And if you’re Time/Life/Warner, call me…

You’re a strange man Pete - verified by a visit to your site.

Andrew

Pete,

I’m nominating you to take over the “Turn Out the Lights” (or whatever it
was called) post at the end of December 31st each year from our beloved Bill
Flowers. I miss it.

For those of you who haven’t been around for years and years and don’t know
what I mean, if Pete is half as good as Bill was, your in for a treat. MIND
YOU, Pete is a VERY different character from what Bill was. A little
freaky, but having read much of what Pete has written over the years I think
he can put a great new spin on it.

P.S. Bill we miss you. I hope your enjoying sunny Florida while all your
friends that helped make QNX such a great OS (as you did too) have to endure
those Canadian winters.

(Oops I mean P.S.)

Great photos, however, I always pictured you (igor) as an old russia guy! in his

Is QSSL’s work space designed as cubes ? Here in Europe is a bit more
good: everybody has its own room with window or 2 guys sitting in the
same room.
